GetVidFB respects the rights of creators and copyright owners. This page explains what GetVidFB does with content, and how to ask us to stop processing links to your content or profile.

GetVidFB does not host content

GetVidFB does not upload, host or keep a library of videos. When someone pastes a link, our server reads the public page and points them to the files that the platform itself serves. The only copies on our server are temporary files created when we join video and audio or convert a video to MP3, and they are deleted within 30 minutes. Removing a video from GetVidFB alone therefore does not remove it from the internet.

Removing content from the platform

To have a video taken down where it is published, report it to the platform. For Facebook, use the reporting options in the Facebook Intellectual Property Help Center. Once the platform removes the content, GetVidFB can no longer fetch it.

Asking GetVidFB to block your content or profile

We can block specific posts, profiles or Pages so that GetVidFB refuses to process links to them, and delete our stored records that mention them. Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice" or "Opt-out request" and include:

• your name and contact details;
• the links to the posts, profile or Page you want blocked;
• for copyright notices, a description of the work you believe is being infringed;
• a statement that you own the content or profile, or are authorized to act for the owner;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We review every complete request and, where it is valid, add the content to our blocklist. Please note that blocking only affects GetVidFB; it does not remove the content from the platform.
