About GetVidFB

GetVidFB is a free web tool for saving public Facebook videos, reels and stories to your phone or computer, and for converting them to MP3. It also downloads videos from TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit. Everything works in your browser: there is no app to install and no Facebook login.

Our tools

How it works

When you paste a link, our server opens the public page it points to and finds the video and audio files the platform serves for that post. You then download those files directly from the platform. For 1080p and higher, Facebook keeps the picture and the sound in separate files, so our server joins them into one MP4 and deletes that file within 30 minutes. GetVidFB does not host a library of videos, and it only works with content that anyone can open without logging in.

Independent and free

GetVidFB is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Facebook, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest or Reddit, and all trademarks belong to their owners. The site is free to use and is paid for by ads.

Responsible use

Please download only your own videos, videos you have permission to save, or content that its creator shared publicly, and respect copyright. If you own content or a profile and want GetVidFB to stop processing links to it, follow the steps on our Copyright and DMCA page.

For developers

The same downloader is available as an API for apps and websites. See API Service.
